Radiant, GPS to provide Mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) facilities for Santos

PT Radiant Utama Interinsco(RUI) and its partner Global Process System (GPS) have won a contract worth about US$100 million to provide Mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) facilities for the development of Santos's oil and gas oil at Maleo field, East Java, Investor Daily reported.
The four-year contract would include the operation and the fabrication and design of the offshore production facilities to be used by Santos to develop the Maleo offshore oil field, which is located about 25 kilometers from Puteran island in the eastern part of Madura island.
The offshore oil facilities are expected to begin operation in August, this year. PT RUI and its partner GPS has an option to extend the contract for a year after the four year contract is ended.
The gas to be produced from the block which is operated by Santos Madura (Offshore) Pty Ltd and Petronas Carigali, Gas will be supplied to the East Kalimantan-Central Java gas pipeline which is now under preparation. (*)
