Ramba completes workover in Jatirarangon Block

SGX-listed Ramba Energy Limited announced that it has completed the workover of the JRR-3 ST production well in Jatirarangon Block in West Java on Tuesday.

The JRR-3 ST production well is currently under observation, and may require a well intervention at a later date. Results of the workover remain inconclusive at this point of time, the company said in a press statement on Thursday.

The Company will make such further announcements to inform shareholders of any updates or developments at the Jatirarangon block.

The company said that the workover of the JRR-3 ST production well will potentially add another producing zone from the Cibulakan-3 zone, which is at an approximate depth of 6,825 feet.

The company expects the workover operations to take approximately 10 days.

Meanwhile, regarding its interest in Lemang PSC block in South Sumatra, Ramba said it has appointed PT Rothschild Indonesia and DMG & Partners Securities Pte Ltd as joint advisers to conduct a strategic review of the Lemang block with a view to enhance value for shareholders.

Ramba holds a 51 percent working interest in the Lemang through PT Hexindo Gemilang Jaya, its local subsidiary.
