Ramba's drilling of JRR-7 well at Jatirarangon block reaches target depth

The company said mud logs and quad combo open hole longing indicate 6 zones with a total of 48 meters of potential gas. Casing and cementing has been run to 1,343 meters, with completion of production testing to follow.
The rig is expected to mobilize to the location of the JRR-06 well ? the second development well to be drilled ? around 7 October 2011. The two wells are expected to add at least 4 mmscfd in gas production.
At present, total production at the Jatirarangon block stands at approximately 3.4 mmscfd of gas and 90 bopd.
Ramba Enegy holds technical assistance contract (TAC) with Pertamina to explore and produce oil and gas at the Jatirarangon block, which will expire in May 2020.
Ramba holds 70 percent working interest in the block, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Ellipse Energy Jatirarangon Wahana Ltd, the operator of the Jatirarangon block. The other 30 percent interest is owned by PT Wahana Sad Karya as a non-operator.
The gas produced from the block is sold to PGN, which in return sells to power plants, households and industries. (roffie)
