Ramba says Jatirarangon JRR-6 well yields 0.5 mmscfd

Singapore-listed oil, gas firm Ramba Energy Limited said that its subsidiary?s development drilling operations at the JRR-6 well at the Jatirarangon TAC block, located in West Java has yielded approximately 0.5 mmscfd of gas.

The well was drilled to a total depth of 1,298 meters.

The JRR-6 and JRR-7 development wells were drilled in H2 2011 with the objective of doubling total gas production from the Jatirarangon block. On 27 October 2011,the company announced that gas flow from the JRR-7 well reached 4.0 mmscfd, the expected quantity for both the JRR-6 and JRR-7 wells combined.

Ramba Energy through its subsidiary Ramba Energy Jatirarangon operates the Jatirarangon block with a 70 percent working interest while PT Wahana Sad Karya owns the remaining 30 percent balance.
