SGX-listed oil and gas firm Ramba Energy Limited is seeking a 550 HP rig for a planned drilling of an exploration well in November of this year at the West Jambi block in Jambi Province.
General Manager of Ramba Energy Suryadi Oemar told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that six bidders are competing for the supply of the required rig. ?There are six bidders, currently (we?re) at the technical and administrative evaluation stage,? he said.
He did not name the well to be drilled in November.
But this portal reported in April, Ramba was preparing to drill the Kusuma-2 exploration well. The Kusuma-2 exploration well is located approximately 7km from the Kusuma-1 well, where drilling had been previously completed and was declared as suspended gas well.
Ramba ? through its subsidiary, Ramba Energy West Jambi Limited ? holds a 100 percent working interest in the West Jambi Block.
