Singapore-listed oil, gas and logistics firm Ramba Energy Limited announced on Wednesday that the Selong-1 exploration well, located at the Lemang block in South Sumatra will now be drilled later in 2012.

The change in the drilling schedule is due to the additional time required in construction activities, as seasonal rains in Western Indonesia and other factors have led to the revised schedule. ?The group is confident that it will commence exploration drilling operations later this year, as road access and well pad construction is already underway,? the company said.

The company said in December 15, 2011 that the well would be drilled in the first quarter of 2012.

Ramba has 51 percent interest in Lemang block.
