Rantau field to increase crude production to 3,500 bpd

PT Pertamina EP, the upstream subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has set a target for its Rantau field in Aceh to increase crude production to 3,500 bopd this year from the current level of 3,302 bopd.

Rantau field Manager Agus Amperianto said in a statement received Friday that he was optimistic to be able to meet the production target as in April alone there would be five new wells including P 251, P 413, P 258, P253, and P80, which will provide additional output of 140 bopd. ?God Willing, the 3,500 bopd target could be achieved,? he said.
