RBH signs 1 million tons of coal supply deal

Riau coal miner PT Riau Baraharum (RBH) has signed 1 million tons coal supply deal with two foreign firms, the industrial source told Petromindo.Com
First of the contract was with Thailand?s trading firm SCT Co., Ltd. Both parties agreed to supply around 500kt of coal to SCT with selling price was arranged at fixed price FOB barge. RBH will deliver the agreed quantity by 31 May 2013 as the latest.
Other contract was with cement maker Lafarge Cement Sdn Bhd., whereby RBH agreed to sell 500kt tons of coal at floating price CIF. RBH will deliver the agreed quantity by 31 December 2013 as the latest.
RBH has produced high CV coal 5400-5400 kcal/kg (GAR) from its mine in Indragiri Hulu and Indragiri Hilir regencies in Riau province.
