Realm expects to complete Katingan Ria feasibility study this semester

Having established JORC compliance resource estimation for Katingan Ria, at 89 million tons consisting of 5.7 million tons measured 44.1 million tons indicated and 39 million tons inferred, as well as establishing probable JORC reserve based on US$52/tons of coal price at 29 million tons of coal measured at 4,200 kcal/kg GAR, ASX-listed Realm Resources said in a presentation material it expects to complete the project's feasibility study report this first half of 2013, in which the resource upgrade to reserves and Feasibility Study should be completed in the first quarter of the year.
The completed FS report, the company said, will be followed by the completion of its forestry exploration permit, funding and off take, as well as financing on the second and third quarter of the year.
If things worked out as plan, the first half of 2014 will see the trial mining execution and ramp up of the production through the construction of support facilities such as jetties and anchorage to produce 2.5 million tons of coal per annum.
