Recapital yet to repay Bumi $231m

London-listed Bumi Plc has stated that PT Recapital Asset Management, an investment fund management group, did not repay PT Bumi Resources Tbk the US$231 million that was due on August 27.
Bumi which controls 29.2 percent of Bumi Resources did not elaborate on reasons of Recapital failing to meet the timing of repayment.
?The discussions are ongoing between Bumi Resources and Recapital regarding a new repayment schedule,? Bumi said in the statement.
