Regional: 100-MW power plant to be built in Zamboanga

San Ramon Power Incorporated plans to build a 100-MW coal-fired power plant in the Phillipines city of Zamboanga .

Zamboanga Today Online reported that the power plant, which will cost about US$280 to build, will use steam coal from Kalimantan , Indonesia, as fuel.

The report did not disclose when the power plant will become operational. (*)
