Regional LNG: CNOOC says still in talks with Gorgon: Report

Top Chinese offshore oil and gas producer CNOOC Ltd. said on Monday it is still in talks to buy liquefied natural gas from Chevron Corp.'s Gorgon field in Australia, and is also seeking gas from other sources, Reuters reported.
Market speculation has swirled that CNOOC would terminate talks with Chevron to buy Gorgon gas as relations soured over their bidding battle for Unocal Corp. (*)
