Regional LNG: PV GAS seeks supplier for December spot LNG cargo

Vietnam’s PV GAS LNG has invited qualified suppliers to submit quotations for a spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to be delivered in December, according to a notice issued on 13 November. The deadline for submission closed at 9:00 a.m. Vietnam time on 14 November.
The tender, listed as Package No. ITQ-25-11-13, seeks one LNG cargo ranging from 3 million to 3.5 million MMBtu, with a tolerance of plus or minus 5 percent. The shipment will be delivered on a DES basis to the Thi Vai LNG Terminal in Ba Ria–Vung Tau, near Ho Chi Minh City.

PV GAS LNG stated that the procurement will be conducted through competitive quotations under its internal procedures, using a single-envelope tender. The contract will follow a unit price structure, with detailed terms to be provided in the tender’s Term Sheet.
If awarded, the contract will cover deliveries between 12 and 20 December 2025. Bidders were required to nominate a two-day delivery window within that period as part of their submissions.
The purchase will be financed through PV GAS’ working capital. PV GAS LNG is the procuring entity, while the buyer is Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS).
