Regional LNG: Release: Woodside Petroleum: 4th LNG processing plant resumes production

Woodside Energy Ltd, operator of the North West Shelf enture, advises that the fourth liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing train at the Karratha gas plant in Western Australia has resumed production.

The re-start of LNG4, which was shutdown on 28 August 2005, follows the successful completion of repairs to the processing unit?s mixed refrigerant compressor. The compressor repairs were completed within the 38-day shutdown schedule.(end of release)
