Rekind ready to build FSRU Lampung

State owned contractor PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) is ready to execute the planned development of floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Lampung, a project being thoroughly studied by owner PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN).

The project, which is targeted for completion in 2014, is estimated to cost over US$100 million, higher than initial estimate of $90 million. It is because the FSRU capacity would be increased, including expansion in pipeline network, according to Rekind President Director Ali Suharsono as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia.

The exact investment requirement would become clear once PGN completes its study, said Ali.(*)
