Rekind signs cooperation agreement with Len

State-owned engineering, procurement, and construction company PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) signed on Friday a cooperation agreement with state-owned technology company PT Len Industri to help the former in improving efficiency in its upstream oil and gas, and energy projects.

 

Len said in a statement that the company will help Rekind develop IT logistics system and project management based on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in the latter?s upstream oil and gas and energy projects.

 

?The synergy between the two state-owned enterprises will develop logistics system to control activities in the outflow and inflow of equipment as well as materials in oil and energy projects owned by Rekind,? Len said in the statement, adding that the control system will help bolster efficiency and effectiveness of the projects.

 

Len is a technology-based company in the fields of railway transportation, electronics defense, renewable energy, ICT, and navigation.
