Release: Adelphi named as successful bidder of an exploration block in Indonesia

(21 October 2008)--Adelphi Energy Limited (Adelphi) is pleased to advise that it has been named as the successful bidder on the South Bengara II onshore exploration block in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Award of the block is conditional upon entering into a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

As previously advised, Adelphi has arranged a farmin by two international companies to this acreage upon successfully being awarded the PSC.
