Release: Antam monthly exploration report for April 2007

Jakarta, 10 May 2007--PT Antam, Tbk is pleased to lodge the April Exploration Report in accordance with the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) listing rules.
Exploration activities focused primarily on nickel, gold and bauxite.
Total exploration cost in April 2007 rose 7% to Rp12 billion compared with Rp11.2 billion spent on March 2007.
NICKEL EXPLORATION
Antam conducted nickel exploration at Buli and Obi Island of Halmahera, Central Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi.
Total cost reached to Rp8.7 billion.
GOLD EXPLORATION
Antam conducted gold exploration at Pongkor and Garut of West Java, Gembes Mountain and Liman Mountain of East Java, Seblat of Bengkulu, Patah Tiga Mountain of Jambi, and Konawe, Wowoni, and Kolono of Southeast Sulawesi.
Total cost reached to Rp2.5 billion.
BAUXITE EXPLORATION
Antam conducted bauxite exploration at Tayan, Mempawah-Landak, Toho and Munggu Pasir of West Kalimantan.
Total cost amounted to Rp813.5 million (end of release)
