NIKEL EXPLORATION
Antam conducted nickel exploration at Buli and Obi Island ? Halmahera, Maluku, Central Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi.
Antam conducted nickel exploration at Sangaji block, Buli-Halmahera with 50 m spacing drilling, 95 drilling pits with total depth of 1,732.5 m. Antam also conducted 25 m drilling on 239 drilling pits at Tanjung Buli with total depth of 4,521.25 m and at Sangaji with 475 drilling pits with total depth of 10,058.5 m. Antam also conducted 200 ha topography measurement, 69 ha grid, 16,312.25 m logging and took 16,425 samples. Total cost reached Rp5.3 billion.
Antam conducted technical geological drilling at Pakal for road design layout in complement with 393.80 m drilling with a cost of Rp925.7 million. Antam also conducted regional geological mapping at Patani, Central Halmahera with a cost of Rp7.8 million.
Nickel exploration at Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi included 100 m spacing drilling with 4,458.85 m depth, 4,047 core samples, 2,242 preparation samples and grid measurement of 69.01 ha. Total cost reached Rp1.6 billion. Antam also conducted laboratory analysis for Tapunopaka mine design with a cost of Rp60 million.
Antam conduced 2,700 ha regional geological mapping at Bulutaloa, Konawe-Southeast Sulawesi, laterite mapping of 1,000 ha and 4 rock sampling with a cost of Rp47.5 million. There was an indication of laterites in a 1,600 ha area.
Nickel exploration at Obi island included 50 m spacing drilling with 5,151.5 m depth, 7,037 core samples, 6,466.5 m core drilling, 8,910 preparation samples and 58.14 km grid and drilling pits measurement. There was an indication of laterites at the Kawasi region. Total exploration cost at the area amounted to Rp2.2 billion. Antam also conducted laboratory analysis to support geotechnical analysis at Obi Island with a cost of Rp719.5 million.
Nickel exploration at Central Sulawesi included Tangofa, Langkawe, Banggai and Wosu regions.
Exploration activities at Tangofa included detailed geological mapping of 5,713.25 ha, 500 m spacing drilling which reached 976.17 m, 976 core sampling, grid and drilling measurement of 20.98 km and 976 preparation samples. Total cost amounted to Rp479.2 million. There was indication of laterites within an area of 2,500 ha.
Antam conduced 1,500 ha semi detailed geological mapping at Langkawe which also included 86 core drilling samples and 84.7 m auger drilling with a cost of Rp89 million. Activities at Banggai included regional geological mapping of 2,000 ha, semi detailed geological mapping of 800 ha, 8 core drilling samples, 8 core drilling description, 8 m of test pitting and 8 preparation samples with a total cost of Rp46 million.
In the Wosu region, Antam conducted regional geological mapping of 3,390 ha, semi detailed
geological mapping of 2,500 ha, 63 m of hand auger and core drilling samples, 73 preparation samples with a cost of Rp110.6 million. There was indication of laterites within an area of 1,180 ha.
Antam continued analysis on samples taken from Seram Island - Maluku with a cost of Rp50.7 million.
Total cost for nickel exploration amounted to Rp13.6 billion.
GOLD EXPLORATION
Antam conducted gold exploration at Pongkor and Garut of West Java, Seblat of Bengkulu, Patah Tiga Mountain of Jambi, Buru Island of Maluku, West Sumatera, West Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi.
Exploration activities at Pongkor included core drilling, core description and core samples at
Ciurung vein below level 500. Drilling activities reached 453.85 m depth followed by 21 core samples and 453.85 m of logging core. Total cost reached Rp638.5 million. Antam indicated quartz vein at 360 m elevation, 3.8 m width and 0.69 ppm of grade. Antam also conducted geotechnical activities at Ciguha for mine development below 500 elevation including 141.9 m of drilling activities. Total cost reached Rp168.7 milion.
Exploration activities at Papandayan of Garut included 48.75 ha of detailed geological mapping, drilling, 1,309.95 m of logging core and 129 core samples at a cost of Rp1 billion.
Gold exploration at Seblat of Bengkulu focused on Lebong Kandis vein, Gunung Husein and Air Kuro. Activities included 21.1 ha of semi detailed geological mapping, 32.50 ha of detailed geological mapping, opening of 565 m, 59 rock samples, 5 fluid inclusion samples and 16 km of track measurement. Total cost reached Rp518.2 million.
Antam conducted exploration at Muaramanderas of Jambi including 1,100 ha of regional geological mapping, 600 ha of semi detailed geological mapping, 100 ha of detailed geological mapping, 60 rock samples and opening of 140 m. Total cost reached Rp143.5 million.
Antam continued analysis at Mao Mamuju of West Sulawesi at a cost of Rp4.9 million.
Activities at Konawe, Kolono and Wowoni of Southeast Sulawesi including 24,500 ha of regional geological mapping, 175 ha of semi detailed geological mapping, 108 rock samples and petrography. Total cost reached Rp25.1 million.
Antam continued lab analysis at Buru Island at a cost of Rp27.1 million.
Antam also continued lab anaysis at Sawah Lunto of West Sumatera at a cost of Rp6.1 million.
Total cost for gold exploration reached Rp2.5 billion.
BAUXITE EXPLORATION
Antam conducted bauxite exploration at Tayan, Munggu Pasir, Mempawah of West Kalimantan, Riau and Maluku.
Exploration activities at Tayan of West Kalimantan included 25 m spacing of test pit with 11.82 km of grid measurement volume, 7.4 ha of topography, 206 pits (1,813.10 m) of test pitting followed by 655 channel samples and 750 preparation samples. Total cost reached Rp498.3 million.
Antam conducted exploration at Munggu Pasir including 18.10 km of grid measurement, 1.20 ha of topography measurement, 50 m spacing of test pitting reached 225 pits (590.20 m), 258 samples and 418 preparation samples. Total cost reached Rp327.4 million.
Exploration activities at Seram Island included 37 pits (110.50 m) of test pitting and collected 40 preparation samples. Total cost reached Rp79.7 million.
Lab analysis at Riau islands was continued at a cost of Rp31.1 million.
Total cost for bauxite exploration reached Rp936.5 million. (end of release)
