Release: Antam monthly exploration report for March 2013

(Jakarta, April 12, 2013)--PT ANTAM is pleased to announce its exploration report for March 201 3 in accordance with the Indonesia Stock Exchange listing rules.

Antam?s exploration activities vere focused on nickel, gold, and bauxite in March 2013, with total preliminary cost of Rp 19,3 billion.

NICKEL
Nickel exploration activities were conducted n Bull, North Maluku ; Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi and Pulau Gag, west Papua in March 2013.

At Buli, North Maluku, Antam conducted semi-detailed geological mapping; test pitting; topographical measurements; drilling-grid and geophysical measurements; drilling; core logging; core, pet/ mm, and XRD samplings; as well as SC and MC measurements.

The exploration act vities at Pomalaa, Suluwesi Tenggara were consisted of semi-detailed geological mapping drilling, core logging; core sampling; GPS measurement; density and MC measurements; grid measurement; and polygonal measurement.

Antam conducted drilling; core logging; core sampling; grid measurement; as well as density and MC measurements at Pulau West Papua.

Antam spent RpS.8 billion on nickel exploration activities in March 2013.

GOLD
Antam conducted gob exploration activities at Pongkor and pandayan, West Java; Cibalung, Banten and Batulicin, Jambi in March 2013. In that period, Antam spent Rp l1,8 bilion for gold exploration activities.

Exploration activities at Pongkor, West Java were consisted of geological mapping: core logging; core sampling; drilling; gravity and magnetic geophysical measurements; drill track measurement; GF track measurement; sampling and point-load testing: core analysis: s well as geological mapping.

At Papandayan, West Java, Antam performed geological mapping: core logging; hand-auger soil sampling: core and rock sampling; drilling; magnetic geophysical measurement; drill track measurement; GF track measurement; geochemical track measurement; sampling and point-load testing; core/rock/soil analysis; as well as geological evaluation and modeling.

At Cibaliung, Banten, Antam conducted geological mapping; TSG and rock sampling; XRD sampling; petrography; mineragraphy; CSAMT and IP geophysical measurements; GF truck measurement, geodetic measurement ; core/rock/soil analysis; drilling; core logging; as well as geological evaluation and modeling.

Meanwhile, at Batulicin, iambi, Antam performed geological mapping; core logging; hand-auger/soil sampling; core, rock, TSG and Pet/Min samplings; drilling; IP and magnetic geophysical measurements; drill track measurement; GF track measurement; sampling and point-load testing; core/rock/soil analysis; geological evaluation and modeling.

BAUXITE
Antam conducted bauxite exploration activities at Mempawah, Landak, Tayan, and Munggu Pasir, West Kalimantan with total exploration cost of Rpl.5 billion in March 2013. The exploration activities were comprised of grid measurement; test pitting; test-pit logging; and sampling.

COAL
In March 2013, Antam conducted coal exploration consisting of geological mapping measurement drill-location and geophysical measurements; drill-location and geophysical measurements; drilling: logging; and sampling at Tebo, Jambi with total cost of Rp244.5 million. (end of release)
