Release: ANTAM monthly exploration report for May 2014

(June 12, 2014) --PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk is pleased to announce its exploration report for May 2014 in accordance with the Indonesia Stock Exchange listin g rules.

ANTAM?s exploration activities were focused on gold and nickel in May 2014, with total preliminary cost of Rp1.5 billion.

GOLD
ANTAM conducted gold exploration activities at Pongkor and Papandayan, West Java; Batangasai, Jambi and Air Niru and Telatang, Bengkulu in May 2014.

Exploration activities at Pongkor, West Java were conducted for data verification and validation, vein distribution field survey as well as ore body modeling.

At Papandayan, West Java, ANTAM performed hand-auger measurement, core and soil sampling, spectral geology test preparation and analysis as well as magnetic susceptibility test preparations and measurements.

Exploration activities in Batangasai, Jambi included detailed geological mapping, ground magnet, and structure and alteration studies.

Meanwhile, at Air Niru, Bengkulu, ANTAM?s explorati on activities aimed to localise vein system distribution both on the surface and underground.

NICKEL
Nickel exploration activities were conducted in Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi in May 2014.

The exploration activities at Pomalaa, Sulawesi Tenggara consisted of semi-detailed geological mapping, topography measurement, drilling and geophysics measurements, drilling, core logging, core sampling and petmin, geophysics resistivity, SG & MC measurements and preparations. (ends)
