Release: Antam, Provincial Govt. of C. Kalimantan sign MoU to develop mineral resources

(Jakarta, January 29th 2009) - PT Antam Tbk is pleased to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan to develop potential mineral resources in the Central Kalimantan province.

Antam will conduct preliminary study in cooperation with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to seek the possibilities of developing potential mineral resources in the region such as coal, gold, bauxite, iron ore and other minerals.

The cooperation is part of Antam?s strategy to diversify its commodities portfolio as well as to seek any opportunities to develop potential mineral resources in Indonesia. (end of release)
