Release: Banpu: Lifting of force majeure at Bontang Coal Terminal

April 23, 2007 – Banpu Public Company Limited would like to notify the Stock Exchange of Thailand the lifting of Force Majeure at Bontang Coal Terminal (according to the letter BP 50214/071 dated 13th February 2007 and the letter BP 50214/099 dated 26th February 2007).

The company would like to inform that the final boom repairs have been completed and loading at the Terminal was normalized on the afternoon of Friday April 20^th 2007. Hence the Force Majeure condition was lifted. The company expects the loading rate at Bontang would soon escalate to its full level after this operation resumption. (end of release)
