Release: BDI Mining: December diamond sale

LONDON - 19 December 2005 - BDI Mining Corp. (AIM-BMG) is pleased to announce the sale by tender of 4,528.73 carats of gem diamonds from the Cempaka Mine in Indonesia with proceeds of the sale totaling US$1,396,525.

The tender result represents an average selling price of US$308 per carat. The December tender parcel comprised run-of-mine diamonds larger than 2mm and included three stones larger than 10 carats. The largest stone was a 15.96 carats.

The December tender lifts Cempaka diamond sales since the commencement of commercial diamond shipments in August to approximately 16,773 carats at an average selling price of US$332 per carat. In addition, 678 carats of fine diamonds (-2mm) were sold in October at US$88 per carat.

The tender was conducted in Antwerp under the supervision of BDI Mining's independent consultants, WWW International Diamonds Consultants Limited. BDI Mining's next tender will be held in January 2006. (end of release)
