Release: Bumi confirms thermal coal price to Japan at $104/t FOB

(Jakarta, 5 April 2010)--PT Bumi Resources Tbk. confirms that a thermal coal contract has been concluded by KPC with a large Japanese customer at an FOB price of $ 104/ton, basis 6700 GAD (equivalent to 6322 GAR) for delivery over Japanese fiscal year April 2010/March 2011.

This represents an increase of more than 40% over the previous year FOB price settlement to Japan in 2009.

Bumi is on track to exceeding its price guidance of $ 67/ton FOB across all its grades for its full year in 2010. (end of release)
