Release : ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia : Pipeline leak in Arun field

ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc. (EMOI) confirmed that in the afternoon of March 23, 2005, a condensate leak was identified from a pipeline located between Cluster 3 and 4 at Arun Field area of operations.
Qualified company personnel were dispatched to the site to commence response measures. EMOI notified local community leaders and appropriate authorities regarding this incident.
As a precaution, EMOI recommended temporary relocation of individuals living close to the site.
The gas production was temporarily reduced by approximately 300 mmscfd due to temporary shut down at Cluster 3 and 4.(*)
