Release: Herald Resources: Bumi?s offer declared unconditional

(Jakarta and Sydney, 25 June 2008) ? PT. Bumi Resources (Bumi) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Calipso Investment Pte.Ltd (Calipso), is waiving the outstanding 50.1% minimum acceptance condition to its takeover offer for Herald Resources Limited (Herald), with the effect that its offer will become unconditional.

Shareholder who accept Calipso?s offer will be paid the offer price of $2.80 cash within the later of 12 days of acceptance or 12 days from today's date, being the date on which Calipso declares its offer unconditional.

Herald shareholders can accept the Calipso offer by completing the Calipso acceptance from or by contacting their stockbroker.

As at the date of this announcement Calipso has an interest in 19.86% of Herald share capital. (end of release)
