Release: Herald Resources: Extension of offer period from Bumi

(6 March 2008)--We (Mallesons Stephen Jaques) act for Calipso Investment Pte. Ltd. (?Calipso?), a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk, in relation to its off-market takeover offer (?Offer?) for all the ordinary shares in Herald Resources Limited (?Herald?).
Calipso is offering $2.25 cash per Herald share.
Calipso has varied the Offer by extending the Offer Period from 7.00pm (Sydney time) on 14 March 2008 to 7.00pm (Sydney time) on 4 April 2008. (end of edited release)
