RELEASE: Komatsu Indonesia, United Tractors launch new generation of hydraulic excavator

The new product Komatsu PC400LCSE-7, following other products in product line of Komatsu Indonesia, adopts the concept of GALEO (Genuine Answer for Land and Environment Optimization). This concept is employed for Komatsu's advanced construction and mining equipment with high productivity, yet safety and environment friendly, that is built on the technology and expertise Komatsu has accumulated during 80 years of successful business operations. The -7 series (GALEO) are introduced to replace the previous -6 series (AVANCE).
Komatsu PC400LCSE-7 is developed from standard unit of PC400-7 to fulfill the customers' requirements. The distinctive of this new product relies on the longer crawler applied on the machine and bigger bucket capacity and digging force for more intensive digging application of the machine.
Komatsu PC400LCSE-7 offers higher capability and productivity, with 3.2m3 bucket capacity, bigger than standard unit of previous generation (2.8m3). Digging height reaches more than 10 meters giving the advantage for higher range of operation. On the other hand digging force of the bucket is increased by 9% from standard unit of previous model. These developed features make the machine very suitable for coal mining application.
Other advantage that does not come with other construction equipment in its type is the low emission of engine with improved fuel efficiency. Komatsu PC400LCSE-7 is installed with 330HP Komatsu engine that complies with Tier II regulations from the United States, European Union and Japan EPA.
At the same occasion, the new motor grader Komatsu GD511A-1 is displayed to replace Komatsu GD510R-1. This new motor grader offers articulated frame for easier operation of the machine, compared to rigid frame applied to the previous model. Easier operation is also offered through the employment of hydroshift transmission with six level of speed (forward and retreat). Other advantages that differentiate this product from the previous model are the utilization of more powerful 135HP engine and easier maintenance of the machine.
Hydraulic excavator Komatsu PC400LCSE-7 and motor grader Komatsu GD511A-1 are produced by Komatsu Indonesia under the license of Komatsu Ltd. The products are part of several models of construction and mining equipment produced by Komatsu Indonesia, such as hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders and dump trucks.
