Release: Noble: Indonesian coal operations running smoothly

(10 September 2008 Hong Kong)--To clarify a news report of yesterday, Noble Group, a global supply chain manager of agricultural, industrial and energy products and a leading coal exporter, confirms that it has not declared force majeure on shipments from the DEJ mine and that Indonesian operations have not been disrupted by the recent heavy rains in Kalimantan.

The DEJ production unit in South Kalimantan is operating as per normal. (end of release)
