Release: Oropa: More encouragement at Sihayo 1 North

May 24, 2005 ? Oropa is pleased to announce further gold mineralization intersected in diamond drilling at its Sihayo 1 North deposit, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
Results for two drill holes namely SHDD055 and SHDD056 have been received, both of which intersected significant zones of mineralization associated with breccias and silicification:

Drill hole SHDD057, a vertical hole located approximately 50m south of SHDD003 which is aimed at extending the Sihayo mineralization to depth in a southerly direction is in progress. (end of release)
Notes:
1. All assays were determined by 50gm fire assay
2. A 0.5ppm Au lower cut was used
3. A maximum of 2m of consecutive internal waste (material less than 0.5ppm Au) per reported intersection
4. All interval grades were calculated as a weighted average
5. All intervals reported as down hole lengths
