Release: PLN Batam: Invitation to bid for Batam gas turbine power plant

PT Pelayanan Listrik Nasional Batam (PT PLN Batam) an electricity service company subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero) intent to built one unit heavy duty Gas Turbine Power Plant type in Batam and option to buy another unit. The units will be extended to a Combined Cycle Power Plant with configuration 2 Gas Turbine, 2 Heat Recovery Steam Generator and 1 Steam Turbine in the future. The Gas Turbine shall capable to utilize gas and oil fuel (dual fuel), and the capacity is 25-35 MW class at site condition.

Batam Gas Turbine is located at Tanjung Sengkuang, Batu Ampar, approximately 10 km Northeast of Batam Center, Batam, Riau Archipelago Province, Indonesia, hereinafter reffered as the Project.

Qualification is open to firms, in the form of joint venture/Consortium/Joint Operation which have experience to supply and construct similar project.

Applicant may obtain Bid Document, at the address indicated below between 09.00 - 16.00 WIST, starting from October 2nd - October 9th 2006, upon cash payment of a non refundable fee of five million Rupiahs (Rp. 5,000,000,-):
