Release: PLN: Limited bidding announcement for Parit Baru coal fired steam power plant

The Government of Indonesia (GOI) with PT PLN (Persero) as its executing agency will received The Preferential Export Buyer?s Credit from the Government of the People?s Republic of China towards the cost of the Parit Baru Coal Fires Steam Power Plant Project (2 X 55 MW). This loan will be used for payments under for the contract.

PT. PLN (Persero) (the Employer) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the above Contract Package. Bidders shall submit the bid covering the complete scope and shall demonstrate the technical capability and experience of similar to the above mentioned power plant.

Bidding is open to bidders which are short-listed as qualified Chinese Company by the Government of the People?s Republic of China:

2. China National Technical Import & Export Corporation
3. China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation
4. CITIC International Corporation Co. Ltd.

A complete set of Bid Document may be purchased started from September 6, 2006, by eligible bidder or by their authorized representative in the above mentioned address upon cash payment of a non refundable amount of Rp. 5.000.000,- (five million Rupiah)

Bidders should deliver their technical and administration proposal (first envelope) and price proposals (second envelope)
