Release: PT Inco: Monthly exploration report ? Jan 2006

Jakarta, February 10, 2006 -- PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk (PT Inco) is reporting that the exploration activities for the month of January 2006 is continue to focus on the area within the Contract of Work.

Exploration Area:
o Bahodopi in Central Sulawesi
o Larona area in South Sulawesi

Total Cost:
Estimated at US$189,332

Exploration Method:
o Core drilling HQ-3 size + 8" Large diameter drilling (for Bahodopi only)

Exploration Contractor:
The exploration is conducted by third party and supervised by Exploration Department of PT Inco

Testing Results:
o Drilling continued at block-4A and block-4C areas of the Bahodopi Project. The second stage of drilling program at the Block-4B area continued at grid spacing of 100 meter after the first stage of 200 meter grid spacing. The first stage of drilling at the block-4C area started at grid spacing of 200 meter. Samples were shipped to a laboratory in Jakarta.
o Drilling continued at Soroako Outer Area (SOA) project of Larona block. We are starting to ship the samples to a laboratory in Australia.
