Release: PT Inco: Partial workers disruption at Sorowako operations

(JAKARTA, November 15, 2007) - PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk (PT Inco) today reported that a number of workers at the Company?s Sorowako site walked off the job this morning in an effort to persuade the Company to accept union demands for additional compensation.
The strike action is being undertaken by Labor Union FSP-KEP UK PT Inco.
Company management and union representatives are discussing the demands but have thus far not reached an agreement.
Mining and processing activities at the Company?s Sorowako site will partially continue. The Company remains hopeful that employees will return to work as soon as possible. (end of release)
