Release: Re: Antam profits Rp 202b (US$22m) (audited) in full year 2002

Jakarta, March 31 2003 - PT Antam is pleased to announce its audited financial statements for 2002, with net income of Rp202 billion (US$22 million).

The audited net income is Rp2 billion less than that released with the unaudited 2002 financial results on March 14 and then detailed in a press release of Much 18, 2003. This is due to the reclassification of Rpl,990,190,201 or $214,460 of expected income from an insurance claim against damages incurred from an accident that occurred at FeNi I smelter in 2001.
