Release: Shin Kong Wedbush invests in Bumi Resources

(Nov 15, 2009)--Shin Kong Wedbush has recently settled a US$1.9 billion strategic investment in PT Bumi Resources Tbk (?Bumi?).
In addition, Shin Kong Wedbush and Bumi have agreed to form a strategic alliance, which would allow Shin Kong Wedbush to facilitate and participate in the future financing needs of Bumi or its affiliates, including project finance for its expanding infrastructure. Shin Kong Wedbush and Bumi will also jointly pursue other investment opportunities in the mining sector.
With its world-class assets and sound operational management, as well as attractive business prospects, Bumi has been selected by Shin Kong Wedbush as its first significant investment in Indonesia. (end of release)
