(Jakarta, March 4, 2004)The Associated Press story, March 3, 2004, citing anonymous senior U.S. officials on the status of the FBI investigation of the murder of two Americans in Timika on August 31, 2002, is incorrect.
The FBI has reached no conclusion regarding any party?s guilt or innocence. The investigation is ongoing and cooperation with the Indonesian authorities is continuing.(End of release)
