Today?s launching ceremony was held at Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta, attended by board of directors of UT and Komatsu, as well as distinguished heavy equipment customers.
Our proprietary Komatsu Hybrid System converts energy generated when the upper structure reduces its speed while turning, stores the energy in the capacitor, and uses it to assist the power of the engine via the power generation motor when the engine accelerates. Components of the Komatsu Hybrid System, such as electric motor which turns the upper structure, power generation motor, capacitor and diesel engine are made in-house, ensuring high reliability and durability *).
Based on field test, HB205-1 Hybrid consumes 25% less fuel than Komatsu Excavator PC200-8.
As of June 30, over 1,135 units of Komatsu hybrid excavator have been sold worldwide. In order to secure customer satisfaction over this product, Komatsu provides extended guarantee and complete range of spare parts as its after sales service.
With the launching of HB205-1 Hybrid, UT succeeded to post another record of Komatsu product in Indonesia?s Museum of World Record (MURI) as The First Heavy Equipment Hybrid in Indonesia.
