With the completion of the renegotiation process, PLN hoped that the stalled power plant projects could be resumed this year.
Dahlan said that PLN, state comptroller BPKP and Attorney General's Office would meet on Tuesday to discuss the results of the renegotiations.
?The final results of the renegotiations will be verified by BPKP and other related agencies outside PLN,? he said. ?The outcome will be submitted to the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry for approval,? Dahlan added.
After being approved by the ministry, the construction of the stalled power plant projects could be started within six months. ?In two years, the power plants could begin their operations,? he said.
But he did not mention the name of the projects.
Of the 25 IPP projects, 14 are under construction, eight in the phase of seeking financing, three in operation. The 25 projects consists of 20 using non-renewable fuels, five using renewable fuels. (*)
