State Minister for the Supervision of State Enterprises Sugiharto said in Jakarta on Friday that the replacement of state owned oil company Pertamina's president director and other members of the executive board would be announced after President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono returns from his official visit to the United States, Investor Daily reported on Saturday.

The minister said that the decision to replace the current members of Pertamina's executive board was proposed by the government's Final Assessment Team (TPA).

"It is TPA which will decide the date for the replacement. We don't know yet the agenda but it should be after the return of President SBY from his official visit to the U.S.," he was quoted as saying.

Susilo is expected to arrive home on Sunday after a week-long visit to the U.S.

According to Sugiharto, candidates to fill in Pertmina's executive board would be taken from the state owned oil and gas company's current management. "But if they fail to meet the requirement, the government will find the candidates from outside of Pertamina," he said. (*)
