Replacement well Konang-3R spudded in

ASX-listed firm CityView Corporation Limited said Tuesday that a replacement well Konang-3R in Madura JOB block, onshore East Java was spudded in on Oct.8, 2006.
The company said the Konang-3R well has a target depth of 3,600 feet and will be deviated with kick off point of 1,200 feet.
The displacement from previous well is about 500 feet with no reservoir difference, CityView said.
In end of September, the Madura JOB venture plugged and abandoned the Konang-3 exploration well due to technical problem.
The Madura JOB block is operated by JSX-listed oil firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. CityView owns a direct 2.65 percent interest in the block. (denny)
