Repsol begins drilling of Kukulambar well

Spanish oil and gas firm Repsol, through its subsidiary Talisman Sakakemang B.V., has commenced drilling at the Kukulambar exploration well in the Sakakemang PSC, South Sumatra, according to an official at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
Dwi Nurcahyanto, Head of Survey Realization and Exploration Drilling Division at SKK Migas, told petromindo.com that the Kukulambar well was spudded on July 28.
He added that the onshore drilling program is targeted to be completed in 30 days. The Kukulambar well is located in Kali Berau Village, Bayung Lencir District, South Sumatra.
According to Petromindo.com data, the exploration block was awarded in 2010 to a local company called PT Cakra Nusa Darma. Talisman obtained 90 percent of the interest last year.
