Resource Alam delays exploration work on weather

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk said in a filing with the Indonesia Stock Exchange Tuesday that its subsidiary PT Insani Baraperkasa has delayed coal exploration work in East Kalimantan until weather condition improves.
The company has already allocated exploration budget worth US$1.26 million in January of this year, it added.
Resource Alam also said that the company?s entire coal block under the PKP2B status has already obtained approval from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to enter production stage.
Meanwhile, for the Loa Janan block in Kutai Kertanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, the company will continue to carry out geological mapping and land acquisition process to determine with sub-blocks are potential to be mined. For the Separi block, the company said it is still making assessment whether to conduct drilling.
