Reswara aims for Aceh coal supply contract

Coal mining company PT Reswara Minergi Hartama is seeking to grab contract to supply coal to the planned 2x200 MW Nagan 3 and Nagan 4 coal-fired power plant in West Aceh, Aceh Province.
The power plant project will be developed by a consortium of independent power producers (IPP) comprising of China Datang Overseas Investment, PT Pembangunan Perumahan and PT Sumberdaya Sewatama. The IPP and state-owned power firm PT PLN signed the power purchase agreement (PPA) for the project on May 2017.
President Director of PT Reswara Minergi Hartama Irfan Setiaputra said that the company wants to supply coal to the coal-fired power plant. ?We are still waiting for the contract (of coal supply),? Irfan said on Tuesday.
Reswara, through PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB), owns two coal concessions in Aceh which are PT Mifa Bersaudara and PT Bara Energi Lestari (BEL). Reswara and Sewatama are sister companies under the IDX-listed integrated energy company PT ABM Investama Tbk.
