Coal mining company PT Reswara Minergi Hartama has set a coal production target of 11.12 million tons this year, or a jump of 91.72 percent compared to 5.8 million tons last year, Kontan reported on Friday.

The paper quoted Reswara President Director Harry Asmar as saying its South Kalimantan coal subsidiary PT Tunas Inti Abadi is expected to produce 6 million tons, while its indirect subsidiary PT Mifa Bersaudara, which operates coal mine in Aceh, to produce 5 million tons.

Reswara, a subsidiary of IDX-listed PT ABM Investama Tbk, also operates another Aceh coal mine via indirect subsidiary PT Bara Energi Lestari. The two Aceh coal firms are subsidiaries of PT Media Djaya Bersama, a direct subsidiary of Reswara.

Elsewhere, the paper said that Mifa Bersaudara has completed construction of coal production facilities in Aceh and started coal shipment to India this month at a volume of 55,000 tons. Third shipment is expected to take place this week. (*)
