Reswara constructs $40.8m conveyor system in Aceh project

Aceh coal miner PT Mifa Bersaudara, a coal unit of Aceh-based firm PT Media Djaya Bersama (MDB), has signed a contract with PT Bangun Artha Hutama for the construction of barge loading conveyor system with a contract value of US$40.8 million.
As of September 30, 2012, the completion of the construction has reached around 10.54%, the company said.
The mine is located in West Aceh regency with an area of 3,143 ha. The mine, which has a reserve of 150 million tons of low rank coal and it has started trial production this year with initial volume of 20,000 tons as of Sept. 2012.
Media Djaya Bersama is owned by PT Reswara Minergi Hartama, a coal holding unit of Indonesia-listed integrated firm PT ABM Investama Tbk.
