The paper quoted Reswara President Director Feriwan Sinatra as saying that the Aceh coal mine, run by subsidiary PT Mifa Bersaudara, will export a total of 250,000 tons of coal to India and Aceh in the fourth quarter of this year.
Reswara, a subsidiary of IDX-listed integrated coal mining firm PT ABM Investama Tbk, owns two coal subsidiaries namely PT Tunas Inti Abadi (in South Kalimantan) and PT Media Djaya Bersama/MDB (in Aceh). MDB owns two mining permit holders namely PT Mifa Bersaudara and PT Bara Energi Lestari. Reswara has a combined installed production capacity of 9 million tons per year.
In January of this year, Mifa Bersaudara said that it was suspending export to India due to the coal price drop, prompting to focus on the domestic market.
Elsewhere, Feriwan said Reswara is expected to have total coal sales volume of 6.4 million tons this year. (*)
