Indonesia's crude oil and condensate output slid to 1.082 million barrels a day in April from 1.089 million b/d in March due to lower condensate production, the Dow Jones Newswires reported on Friday citing an official said as saying.
The official at the Mines and Energy Ministry wouldn't give a precise breakdown, saying only that crude oil output was around March's 961,200 b/d.
Indonesia, the only Asian member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, remained unable to meet its OPEC quota of 1.425 million b/d because of dwindling reserves after years of exploitation. Contradictory regulations have also hampered new exploration in the country.
It was a net crude oil importer for several months last year.
