Ridho field project to come onstream in June

The Ridho field project in Karang Agung block in South Sumatra operated by PT Odira Energy Karang Agung is projected to be onstream in June of this year, said an official of upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
Division Head for Inspection of Realization of Field Development Plan at SKK Migas Nugrahani told Petromindo.com on Monday that the firm postponed the first production of the project from 2012 to the middle of 2014 due to difficulties in obtaining forest utilization permit for right-of-way (ROW) path from the Ridho field to the collection tank in Bentayan.
According to her, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works at the field have been 75 percent completed per Dec. 2013.
?Hopefully, its first production will not be delayed again,? said Nugrahani.
Early this month, SKK Migas announced that the Ridho field will produce around 1,200 barrels of oil per day at first production.
